As noted earlier, both John Lineker and Kelvin Gastelum missed weight by a considerable amount during the official UFC 183 weigh-ins earlier today in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Lineker missed weight for his fight with Ian McCall by four pounds, as he tipped the scales at 130 pounds for a 125-pound flyweight bout. This is the fourth time Lineker has missed weight for a fight in the UFC. Lineker ended up being fined 30 percent of his purse, and his fight with McCall will go on as scheduled, according to UFC executive Dave Sholler.
Gastelum missed weight for his co-main event fight with Tyron Woodley by an astonishing nine pounds. This marks the third time he has missed weight in his initial attempt for a UFC fight. Gastelum was also fined 30 percent of his fight purse and his bout with Woodley will go on as scheduled tomorrow night.
