Fans who have been anticipating the return of former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre received some bad news today, as the fighter’s manager confirmed that he has no plans to return to the Octagon in 2015.
“There is no plan for 2015,” manager Rodolphe Beaulieu told MMAJunkie.com. “We are working on a few projects, but nothing related for him coming back in the Octagon.”
In the meantime, GSP’s former home in the UFC Welterweight division is a complete mess, as plans for a third Robbie Lawler vs. Johny Hendricks fight have been scrapped, and a pair of intriguing title eliminator bouts are in the future, with the next shot at the gold up for grabs.
