Jamahal Hill vs. Paul Craig Postponed After Positive COVID Test

The UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Holland card scheduled to take place a week from Saturday has lost its co-main event after Jamahal Hill was pulled from his fight against Paul Craig.

Paul Craig revealed on social media that his fight against Jamahal Hill scheduled for March 20 has been postponed. Craig accused Jamahal Hill of pulling out of the fight, to which Hill issued a spicy comeback to the Scotsman, insisting that his pull-out game is stuck on 0.

“I got 6 kids I never pull out. COVID may of saved you for now, but u already got the date.Your head gunna be on a spike soon,” Hill posted.

Indeed, it was COVID that did this fight in for the time being. Hill himself announced that he had tested positive for the virus last week. Fortunately, as Craig mentioned, the fight will now take place at a later date.

When this fight does take place, Jamahal Hill will be looking to extend his undefeated record to 9-0 while Craig aims to win his third straight. Both men are at the bottom of the light heavyweight rankings, Craig at #14 and Hill at #15, so this is a key fight for both men in their attempts to advance into the top 10.

With this bout postponement, the updated card for UFC Fight Night: Holland vs. Brunson is as follows:

Derek Brunson vs. Kevin Holland

Gregor Gillespie vs. Brad Riddell

Grant Dawson vs. Leonardo Santos

Macy Chiasson vs. Marion Reneau

Cheyanne Buys vs. Kay Hansen
