Celebrity-gossip website TMZ caught up with UFC Light Heavyweight Jon Jones earlier this weekend to ask him one question — whether or not he feels legendary comedian/actor Bill Cosby is guilty of sexual assault.
The comedian, famous for his television and commercial work has been accused of sexual assault by at least 15 different women, an accusation that “Bones” feels isn’t true, well, at least he hopes it isn’t.
When asked by TMZ reporters outside of LAX for his take on the Cosby allegations (in a video you can watch above), the UFC’s 205-pound king said, “I don’t think Bill Cosby would do that.”
“Bones” Jones continued, “I’ve never met him, but from what I’ve seen he seems to be a class act. I kind of grew up admiring him as a black actor and I really hope that’s not true.”
Jones would go on to do his best Cosby imitation before concluding, “He’s Bill Cosby! He shouldn’t have to ‘take it,'” Jones said with a smile.
Regardless of his guilt or innocence, the accusations alone have cost Cosby deals with companies such as Netflix, TV Land and NBC.
As far as Joens is concerned, his focus is on his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, a title he defends against undefeated top-ranked contender Daniel Cormier at UFC 182 on January 3, 2015 from Las Vegas, Nevada.
