For anyone still questioning Jose Aldo’s desire going forward following his 13-second knockout loss to Conor McGregor at UFC 194 this past Saturday night, it seems as though we have our answer. Aldo wants to do it again — immediately.
Aldo returned home to a hero’s welcome on Thursday, as he was greeted by several hundred — possibly even several thousand — excited fans to see him return to home soil following the first loss of his UFC career in Las Vegas, Nevada this past weekend.
Aldo posted photos of his homecoming on Instagram, along with the following message:
“Still the people’s champion. That wasn’t a defeat. Dana White, rematch right away.”
“Today, fans from all over Brazil and Team Nova Uniao came to receive our champion of the people at the airport,” read a second post. “And with the same sympathy whenever he received the affection, took pictures and gave interviews. Jose Aldo, congratulations, we know everything and will return with a comeback, bringing our Brazil again his belt! Dana White, rematch right away!!!”
