Main Event, Three Undercard Bouts Set For UFC Fight Night 62 In Brazil

Four new, exciting bouts are now set for the UFC Fight Night 62 event in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this March.

The main event for the show, which is scheduled for March 21st, will see longtime UFC Bantamweight contender Urijah Faber challenge Raphael Assuncao, one of only two fighters to defeat the current champion of the division, Faber’s Team Alpha Male teammate T.J. Dillashaw.

UFC Welterweight contender Demian Maia, who was scheduled to fight Mike Pyle in August, but had to pull out of the bout due to a bone infection, is ready for action, as he will meet Ryan LaFlare in one of the featured bouts on the card.

Another interesting Welterweight pairing is set for the event, as Erick Silva will square off with Ben Saunders.

In Lightweight action, Josh Thomson will square off against Gilbert Burns.

UFC Fight Night 62 is scheduled for Saturday, March 21st at the Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
