Michael Bisping Tears Into Joshua Fabia As Only Bisping Can

Michael Bisping had a mouthful to say about Joshua Fabia after Fabia blasted Diego Sanchez in a recent interview.

Michael Bisping has been known as many things. Reserved and tight-lipped has never been one of them. Bisping has been critical of Joshua Fabia in the past, but this time, he was sure to leave nothing back in running down the controversial figure and his character.

Over the weekend, Fabia was interviewed about his recent split with former client Diego Sanchez. During the interview, Fabia tore into Sanchez without mercy, saying and implying (among other things) that Sanchez is a drug addict, mentally handicapped, a liar, and that he threw a fight.

These comments came seemingly out of nowhere, as even though news broke of Sanchez’s and Fabia’s split last week, it still was just days ago that the two remained as thick as thieves and were defending one another at every turn. Now, it’s Michael “The Count” Bisping who is assuming the role of Sanchez’s defender, and he’s doing it against Sanchez’s former guru in vintage Bisping fashion (transcription via Ross Markey).

“That little prick, that little asshole, Joshua Fabia — who runs the School of Self Awareness, and by the way, he’s the least self-aware asshole on the planet, the least self-aware, so that’s ironic,” Bisping said on his Believe You Me podcast. “He’s now talking sh*t about Diego, not the other way round. … He’s come out and he’s talking bad about (Sanchez’s) character, he’s saying he’s got substance abuse issues, he’s saying that he’s broke, he’s making out that he’s a bad father. I mean, this guy really, really went off the deep end…

Joshua Fabia, Diego Sanchez

“What this guy did to Diego’s career, and end up losing him his job, and for him to come and talk all the sh*t, when Diego was so loyal to him and had his back, and even cut off members of his own family and lost his job with the UFC that he had for a long, long time — shouldn’t say job with the UFC, but his place in the UFC that he had for a long time,” Bisping explained. “And for him (Fabia) to come out there and do this — so quickly as well, it just shows, this guy is a real piece of sh*t. Joshua Fabia is a con artist, he’s a f*cking little cockroach, he’s a little sh*t that needs terminating.”

Diego Sanchez is expected to speak up for himself in the coming days. In the meantime, the MMA community is rallying behind him after Fabia’s attack, and The Count is gladly leading the charge.
