The tension has never risen as high as it did during the build to UFC 229, where his feud with Khabib Nurmagomedov became very personal.
Though Dustin Poirier also regularly finds himself back in McGregor’s firing line, there is nobody that “The Notorious” likes to fire at more than his former lightweight rival.
This is especially true at the moment given the current saga that is playing out between Nurmagomedov and the Russian government over unpaid tax.

Surprisingly, at least on this social media platform, the post shows McGregor sending a direct message to Nurmagomedov for the first time on Instagram.
In reference to the former fighter’s current situation, “The Mac” sent him a message and jokingly offered to buy his house because he cannot afford it.
