Some shuffling has been confirmed for the UFC Fight Night 47 card in Bangor, Maine, as an injury has thrown a wrench in the originally designated plans for the show.
UFC.com is reporting that Blackzilians fighter Abel Trujillo has been forced to pull out of his scheduled bout with Ross Pearson due to an injury he suffered in training.
Instead of Pearson being pulled from the show, UFC decided to switch things around and bump Fabricio Camoes from the card altogether, moving his originally scheduled opponent Gray Maynard into Trujillo’s spot.
The Pearson vs. Maynard lightweight battle will now serve as the co-headline attraction of the show, which features a main event of Ryan Bader vs. Ovince St. Preux.
UFC Fight Night 47 is scheduled for August 16, 2014 at the Cross Insurance Arena in Bangor, Maine.
