Rashad Evans Eyes Early 2015 UFC Return, Fight With Alexander Gustafsson

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rashad Evans noted during a recent television appearance that he hopes to return to the Octagon in early 2015, noting that he has his eyes on a potential fight with top-ranked Light Heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson.

During the UFC 178 post-show on Saturday night, Evans spoke about Gustafsson and his desire to fight him.

“I’ve been very impressed with how his development has gone. I would definitely like to fight him when I return,” said Evans. “Definitely.”

Evans continued, “When I left, I was at the top and Alexander Gustafsson has been getting better with every single fight. Dana [White], set it up.”
