At the UFC 189 “World Tour” press conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Friday, the main event was made official for the UFC 190 pay-per-view.
As reported on Thursday, Ronda Rousey will defend her UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship against Bethe Correia in the main event of the show.
It was also revealed during the presser that Jessica Eye and Miesha Tate will duke it out in June to determine Rousey’s next title challenger, as long as Rousey gets past Correia in August.
UFC officially announced the fight today, which is now confirmed as the main event for UFC 190, which is scheduled to take place at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Saturday, August 1, 2015.
