Thiago Santos (9-2), who meets Urijah Hall (8-4) at UFC 175, spoke about the chances of scoring a knockout tonight. “Since the fight starts on the feet, there’s a good chance of a knockout,” said Santos.
“We’ll see once we’re in the cage. It’s MMA, so it’s hard to predict, since either one of us can take the fight to the ground.” Santos continued, “Anything is possible in MMA.”
Santos isn’t looking past his UFC 175 opponent, admitting that he is a legitimate challenge. “he is certainly a dangerous athlete. I can’t take my eyes away for one second. He’s a striker like me,” says Santos. “I’ll have to be very focused on every move he makes. I think it will be an exciting fight for the fans. We’re both motivated. It will be great fight.”
