Fresh off of his impressive victory over Jake Ellenberger at Saturday’s UFC 180 pay-per-view in Mexico City, Ultimate Fighter champion Kelvin Gastelum has his next opponent officially lined up.
UFC officials announced on Tuesday that the number seven ranked UFC Welterweight contender will challenge the division’s number three ranked fighter, Tyron Woodley, in the co-main event of UFC 183 in January.
The Gastelum-Woodley bout joins Miesha Tate vs. Sara McMann and Thiago Alves vs. Jordan Mein as a strong supporting cast under the UFC 183 headline attraction, which features Anderson Silva vs. Nick Diaz.
UFC 183 takes place on January 31, 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
