UFC 200 Bonus Winners: $50k Awarded To Nunes, Velasquez, Lauzon & Mousasi

At UFC 200 on Saturday night, four fighters walked away with an extra $50,000 in performance bonuses.

In second fight of the evening inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, which aired as part of the UFC Fight Pass preliminary card, Gegard Mousasi blasted through Thiago Santos at the 4:32 mark of the first round, scoring an impressive knockout victory.

In the third fight on the card, which served as the main event of the Fight Pass portion of the show, a man who is virtually known as the performance bonus guy, Joe Lauzon, picked up yet another bonus after he made quick work of Diego Sanchez, stopping the first-ever Ultimate Fighter champion with strikes at 1:26 of the very first round.

In the pay-per-view opener, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez returned to his normal, terrifying form, blitzing through highly-regarded contender Travis “Hapa” Browne with a first round TKO victory.

Finally, Amanda Nunes’ destruction of Miesha Tate earned her an additional $50,000. Nunes, who is the first-ever openly gay champion in the UFC, as well as the first-ever female Brazilian champion in UFC history, submitted Tate with a rear-naked choke at the 3:16 mark of the first round.
