UFC brings the Octagon back to Manchester, England tonight, Saturday, October 8th for UFC 204: Bisping vs. Henderson 2.
Featuring Vitor Belfort vs. Gegard Mousasi, Ovince Saint Preux vs. Jimi Manuwa and a headline bout of Michael Bisping vs. Dan Henderson 2 for the UFC Middleweight Title, UFC 204 has something for everyone.

Main Card (PPV at 10 p.m. ET)
Russell Doane vs. Mirsad Bektic
Round 1: Both Bektic and Doane have made their way to the cage, our first fight of the PPV card is just moments away. Bruce Buffer just finished doing his thing. And here we go! Yves Lavigne will be our referee for this one. Doane with a nice low kick. He follows in with a punch that nearly catches Bektic, who slipped because he was off balance. Both guys told to watch the low kicks. Doane with some nice combination shots with his hands. Bektic double leg dives Doane and gets him to the mat with a successful takedown. He’s working from top position now inside Doane’s tight closed guard. Doane works his way back to his feet but Bektic scoops him up and takes him right back down. Doane gets back to his feet again but again Bektic is on him like glue. Bektic now takes Doane’s back but his own back is against the fence with both guys sitting upright. One minute left in the round with Bektic continuing to control Doane from behind. Bektic gets the choke under the chin and Doane taps.

Stefan Struve vs. Daniel Omielanczuk
Round 1: The video package for the big boys just finished. Daniel O. is making is walk to the cage now. Struve is making his way down to the Octagon. Both guys are in the cage, our second PPV fight is moments away. Daniel O. lands some nice body kicks to the tall, lanky Struve early on. Leg kicks from Dan O. Push kick by the tall Struve. Head kick attempt partially blocked by Daniel O. He fires back with a big left hand to his tall opponent. Big knee from Struve catches Dan O. coming in. Nice kick to the body by Struve. Nice exchanges by both guys and then Struve takes Dan O. down. Both guys pop right back up as soon as they hit the mat. They stay clinched against the cage and then Dan O. trips him down. Struve ends up on top and is working from inside Dan O’s half guard. Struve takes O’s back and is looking for the choke. Little less than a minute left in the round. The round ends wiith Struve on his back still looking for the choke. MMANews.com scores the round 10-9 for Stefan Struve.
Round 2: The second round kicks off with both guys touching gloves. The size difference between these two is insane. Struve is so much taller. Daniel O. looking for a takedown early on here in the second round. Struve with a nice knee to the body of Daniel. Struve takes Daniel down and is looking to get in a D’Arce choke. He gets it.

Ovince Saint Preux vs. Jimi Manuwa
Round 1: The video package is done airing and both 205’ers have made their way to the cage. Bruce Buffer just finished doing his thing. Here we go with light heavyweight action here in Manchester, England. Both guys come out trading leather with reckless abandon early on. Good kick from OSP lands, answered by a stiff quick from Manuwa. Both guys clinch against the cage now. Both guys each partially land nice body kicks to the other. We’re clinched against the cage again here at the half way point of the first round. OSP with a guillotine attempt and then a takedown attempt. He gets Manuwa to the mat. He gets one hook in looking to take Manuwa’s back. Two minutes left in the round. He gives it up but takes Manuwa back down. Manuwa slaps on a guillotine from the bottom. Manuwa lets it go as OSP looks to pass and take Manuwa’s back again. Both guys work back to their feet in a scramble. The round ends with Manuwa throwing a big kick. Round 2: Both guys exchanging nice punches to start the second round. OSP starts mixing in some kicks. Manuwa answers back with some kicks of his own. OSP with a takedown attempt. Manuwa gets control of OSP’s head and we’re stuck on the fence. Both guys break. Manuwa with a nice left hook and a kick to follow up. OSP misses with a spinning back-fist attempt. Manuwa with a nice leg kick. Nice head kick attempt by Manuwa. Nice jab by OSP. Nice inside leg kick by Manuwa. Nice left hook by Manuwa partially blocked by OSP. Manuwa with a flying knee. Manuwa is definitely doing much better in the second round here in Manchester. Nice body shot and a huge punch from Manuwa drops OSP. He follows up with another brutal punch to knock out Saint Preux!

Vitor Belfort vs. Gegard Mousasi
Round 1: Alright fight fans, both guys are in the cage and Bruce Buffer just did his thing. It’s officially time for our co-main event of the evening! Marc Goddard is the referee for this one. Mousasi with a high kick early into the first round. Belfort lands a couple of nice left hands. Belfort with a nice kick to the body. Mousasi with a nice punch combination. Mousasi starting to cut the cage off now. He tags Belfort with a nice punch. Belfort easily avoids a takedown attempt by Mousasi. Nice leg kick by Mousasi. And another. Mousasi goes high with a kick but misses. Nice head kick attempt by Belfort but Mousasi does a good job of blocking it. Belfort lands a nice left hand. Mousasi with a nice right hand. Mousasi with another nice punch combo. 30 seconds remains, that might have locked the round up for Gegard. Mousasi with a nice punch and he takes Belfort down right at the buzzer. Round 2: Nice jab by Mousasi to start off the second round. And another. And another. Nice body kick by Belfort. Mousasi answers back with a nice right hand counter punch. Mousasi with a takedown attempt but Belfort defends well. Mousasi pops Belfort with a nice jab. Head kick by Mousasi stuns Belfort. Mousasi smells blood and follows in with a vicious onslaught of punches. Belfort manages to somehow survive that crazy exchange by Mousasi. Mousasi takes Belfort down and is now pounding him on the ground. Belfort is somehow still hanging in there but you get the feeling he won’t be lasting much longer. Mousasi gets mount and pounds away some more. Now he’s looking to take Belfort’s back. Mousasi settles back into full mount and is ground and pounding away. Belfort turtles up and after a few more Mousasi punches, the ref stops it.

UFC Middleweight Championship
Michael Bisping (c) vs. Dan Henderson
Round 1: The video package for tonight’s main event just finished airing. Out first comes the challenger, MMA legend Dan Henderson. His opponent, England’s hometown hero and the reigning UFC Middleweight Champion, Michael Bisping, is now making his way to the cage. Bruce Buffer just finished doing what he does best and now here we go with round one. Bisping fires the first shot with a headkick attempt that misses. Jab by Bisping. Leg kick by Hendo. Each guy lands a jab at the same time. Hendo brushes Bisping across the chin with his first H-Bomb attempt. The fans are obviously solidly behind Bisping as the chants start up in “The Count’s” favor. Bisping continues to work high kick attempts while being aware of Hendo’s power and showing him respect. Half-way through the round and both guys are still showing each other a lot of respect standing up on the feet. Bisping using kicks and his jab to keep Hendo at bay and to avoid that big H-Bomb that turned out his lights in their first fight at UFC 100. Thus far Hendo hasn’t been able to land much leather on Bisping as a result of the style the Brit is intelligently using in this rematch. Just as I say that Hendo catches Bisping with a big bomb and he drops him. Hendo goes in for the finish and is landing big punches and elbows. Bisping turns and stands up but Hendo is staying on him. Bisping’s face is becoming a crimson mask but he’s back up and ready. Hendo is smiling. The buzzer sounds. MMANews.com scores the round 10-8 for Dan Henderson.
Round 2: Many might score that first round 10-9, but that was about as close to a finish as you can get and plenty of damage was inflicted. Either way, Dan definitely took the round by nearly finishing Bisping at the end. Here we go with round two. Bisping coming out in the second like nothing happened. He’s still leading the charge and somewhat stalking Hendo, who continues to back up and look for big shots. Bisping with some leg kicks now. Bisping with a nice right hand of his own to Hendo. And another. Brian Stann pointing out on commentary that Hendo is breathing with his mouth wide open already in the second round after using a ton of energy in his flurry to try and finish Bisping in the first. Bisping meanwhile is landing a lot of good shots and is scoring a ton of points at will. All Bisping here in round two thus far. Hendo walks right into a head kick from Bisping but he eats it well. Nice right hand by Bisping finds the mark. Nice kick by Bisping. Bisping stuns Hendo with a nice shot. Bisping kicks Hendo but Hendo fires back with a huge bomb that drops Bisping. Bisping is down and Hendo is on top of him. Stann points out that the ref missed a groin shot that Bisping hit Hendo with right before Hendo dropped Bisping. The scoring for this round could be interesting depending on how these last 30 seconds go. It was all Bisping and Bisping even hurt Hendo near the end of the round, but Hendo did drop Bisping again and finished the round on top. The buzzer sounds. Round 3: Bisping is tagging up Hendo with some good punches and kicks here in the early goings of the third round. Bisping stuns Hendo again with another good punch. Hendo recovers well. Three minutes left in the round. Bisping continues to lump up Hendo with good punches, while avoiding anything in return (so far, anyways). Good leg kick by Bisping. And another. Bisping goes up high with a head kick attempt but Hendo blocks it well. Bisping blasts Hendo with a nice one-two with the hands, finishing with a leg kick. Hendo slips moving forward but pops back up. Hendo breathing deeply out of his mouth, as Stann again points out on commentary. Bisping smashes Hendo with a nice punch that definitely got Hendo’s attention and backed him up. 30 seconds remain in the round. Hendo tags Bisping with a nice right but that time Bisping rolled with it well and took it well. The buzzer sounds to end the round. MMANews.com scores the round 10-9 for Michael Bisping.
Round 4: Bisping partially lands a head kick in the early goings here in the fourth round, the first of two potential final “championship rounds.” Hendo lands a nice punch of his own,, finally showing some offensive signs of life here in the fourth. Bisping with a wild head kick attempt. Bisping with a nice right hand. Hendo with a body kick. Bisping catches Hendo with a low blow. The ref stops the action to let Hendo recover. Bisping mocking Hendo as he takes a good bit of time to let himself recover, and/or to catch his breath. Bisping controls the action again as the fight finally resumes. Hendo with one flurry but doesn’t land much clean. Bisping flicking kicks at Hendo to keep him on the outside again. Hendo with a leg kick. Nice little left hand from Hendo partially lands. Nice body kick by Hendo. Bisping touches up Hendo with a jab or two. Hendo just misses with a big right hand. MMANews.com scores the round 10-9 for Michael Bisping.
Round 5: Here we go with our fifth and final round. Henderson looking for a big knee in the early goings. Bisping using his same outside style, coming in just to score and then quickly moving out of striking range so Hendo can’t do anything in return. Bisping pops Hendo with a jab. Sounds like the fans actually did a little “Hendo! Hendo!” chant here in England of all places. Could be hearing that wrong. Hendo with a jab. Hendo with a kick attempt. Bisping throws up a high kick attempt of his own. Really nice body kick by Bisping gets Hendo’s attention. Half way through the fifth and final round with Bisping comfortably in control thus far. Hendo with an uppercut and a leg kick. Bisping answers back with a kick of his own. Hendo catches Bisping with a little right hand that woke Bisping up. Hendo takes Bisping down. Bisping gets back to his feet. Both guys swing wildly. One minute left in the round. Bisping with a nice head kick that partially lands. Hendo with another takedown attempt but this time Bisping stuffs it. Ten seconds remains and Bisping comes in with a wild flying knee and some punches. Hendo tries a cartwheel kick at the bell for fun. The fight is over. MMANews.com scores the round 10-9 for Michael Bisping.
