UFC 212 in Rio de Janeiro in June looks set to feature a middleweight bout between Paulo Borrachinha and Oluwale Bamgbose.
Brazilian outfit Combate reports that Borrachinha and Bamgbose will square off on the card in June, but this is yet to be confirmed by UFC officials.
UFC 212’s main event exhibits a featherweight title unification fight between Jose Aldo and Max Holloway at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro on June 3.
Borrachinha made his promotional debut UFC Fight Night 106 in Brazil earlier this month, stopping Garreth McLellan after 77 seconds. With a perfect record of 9-0 (with all nine coming by stoppage) the Brazilian will aim to move into double-figures with a victory over Bamgbose.
Bamgbose was set to fight Tom Breese in London UFC Fight Night 108 just under two weeks ago, before Breese was pulled from the bout following being deemed unfit to compete. Bamgbose will have been out of the octagon 14 months by the time he walks out to fight in Rio.
Below is how UFC 212’s card currently stands:
