The preliminary numbers are in for this past Friday’s head-to-head battle between UFC and Bellator.
UFC offered their UFC Fight Night 50 event on FOX Sports 1 and according to early estimates, from 10pm to midnight, the show did a 0.54 rating.
Bellator held their Bellator 123 event on Spike TV and from 8pm to a little bit after 10pm, the show did a 0.43 rating.
Based off of those numbers, it appears as though the head-to-head battle didn’t result in additional interest in a Friday fight night, as it looks like the two split the same audience that generally tunes in to a weekend fight show.
