UFC Welterweight veteran Paulo Thiago has been released from the promotion following a five-year run.
The news, which was first reported by Brazil’s Combate website, has since been confirmed by multiple outlets.
Thiago compiled a 5-8 record while in the UFC, with notable wins over Josh Koscheck, Jacob Volkmann and Mike Swick.
After going 0-3 in his last three trips to the Octagon, the promotion decided to cut the Welterweight fighter from their roster.
