“UFC Soundwaves” Tracks the Legacy of Conor McGregor Tonight on FS1

Conor McGregor is, without a doubt, the biggest name in Mixed Martial Arts today, and furthermore, one of the most recognizable faces in the world of sport.

“I’m out here rallying around California in a car that spits fire, with anacondas on my feet” -Conor McGregor

The outspoken and charismatic Irishman is assured of a place in the pantheon of MMA greats, having become the first fighter in UFC history to hold two titles simultaneously. A polarizing character, “The Notorious” has not always endeared himself to fans and fellow fighters with his legendary trash talk and pre-fight exploits.

Despite this, McGrgeor exhibits devastating knockout power and deft movement which underlines his status as one of the most exciting fighters to grace the UFC. Currently campaigning for a “Billion-Dollar” boxing match against boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr., the UFC lightweight champion looks set to disappoint UFC fans with an extended absence in 2017.

While other commitments outside of the octagon (including awaiting the birth of his first child) have hit the pause button his UFC legacy, the promotion and FS1 have teamed up to bring you behind the scenes of McGregor’s time with the UFC so far.

You can check out the 30-minute feature “UFC Soundwaves” tonight on FS1 at 9:30 p.m. ET (6:30 p.m. PT). You can also watch the preview for that show, above.
