UFC Vegas 22 Weigh-In Results: Fighter Collapses & Has Bout Canceled

The UFC Vegas 22 weigh-ins are complete, and the main event between Kevin Holland and Derek Brunson remains intact.

The weigh-ins were mostly smooth sailing. One half of the main event, Kevin Holland, weighed in light at 183 pounds for his middleweight bout while Derek Brunson hit the middleweight limit of 186. The return of Gregor Gillespie will also go unhindered, as both he and his opponent, Brad Riddell, were able to make weight without issue for the night’s co-main event.

There were a couple of issues at the weigh-ins, however. Jesse Strader weighed in 1.5 pound over the bantamweight limit for his bout against Montel Jackson and will be fined 20% of his fight purse. And in more worrisome news, female bantamweight Julija Stoliarenko collapsed multiple times during weigh-ins and was eventually stretchered out of the arena. Her bout against Julia Avila has now been canceled. Here is some footage from Stoliarenko’s weigh-in difficulties.

With this one cancellation, the updated lineup for tomorrow night’s UFC Vegas 22 card and full weigh-in results are as follows:
