Urijah Faber Hints At Retirement After Second Loss To Dominick Cruz At UFC 199

Could two MMA legends be hanging up the gloves following Saturday night’s pay-per-view?

Former WEC Champion and multiple-time UFC title contender Urijah Faber hinted at retirement during his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan inside the Octagon on Saturday night.

“The California Kid” spoke about his long journey and after being asked outright by Rogan if he mentioned it because said-journey could be coming to an end, he admitted that he would have to think about it. He said he wouldn’t commit to retiring, much like Dan Henderson did earlier in the evening, but also admitted that he would have to look at things now that he is no longer in the top mix at 135-pounds.

Faber lost to Cruz in their rubber match in the co-main event of UFC 199 on Saturday night, as Cruz retained the UFC Bantamweight Championship with an easily won unanimous decision victory, including dropping Faber in the second round with a big shot.
