After being arraigned on charges of resisting and obstructing an officer in Orange County Superior Court earlier this week, former UFC fighter Jason “Mayhem” Miller spoke with ABC 7 out of Los Angeles, California about his legal situation.
Miller, who was involved in a bizarre three-hour standoff with police, which he live-tweeted about as it was happening, eventually surrendered and subsequently spent seven days in jail after being released on $200,000 bond.
Miller offered the following comments to ABC 7:
“I love Twitter…. Number one was my own personal safety — I just wanted to make sure that everything [went] without a hitch. Unfortunately, there was some trouble…. I don’t want to get into details about the case — I’m sure that there will be a time to tell everything. But, right now, I just want to go through the process…. I’m completely innocent. It’s unfortunate. And, like I said, I will prove my innocence in a court of law.”
