KOAT 7 News out of Albuquerque, New Mexico aired an investigative report that shows local authorities searching and inspecting the rented vehicle that UFC star Jon Jones left behind after a brutal hit-and-run accident last week.
Officers went through the silver Buick after the crash, and lapel cameras capture their reaction.
“Dude I wonder if this is that fighter’s car, Jon Jones?” said one officer. “I wouldn’t doubt it, bro, they said he was real tall,” said another.
In the car, officers found a pipe, cash, dirty clothes, water bottles, loose change and a “sh*tload of condoms.”

As a result of the hit-and-run incident, Jones was stripped of his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, suspended indefinitely by the promotion, removed from all of their official company rankings, and he lost his upcoming main event spot at UFC 187, as former rival Daniel Cormier will step in to face the man Jones was to defend his title against — Anthony “Rumble” Johnson — for the now vacant UFC 205-pound title.
