After his history-making victory over Eddie Alvarez in the “Champion vs. Champion” main event of Saturday night’s UFC 205 mega-event, the current World Champion of both the UFC’s Featherweight (145-pound) and Lightweight (155-pound) divisions spoke with UFC’s Megan Olivi backstage at Madison Square Garden.
Featured above is the complete backstage interview Olivi conducted with McGregor after his win over Alvarez, which made McGregor that much more “Notorious,” as he is the only fighter in history to hold World Titles in two separate weight-classes in the UFC at the same time.
In the interview embedded above, the Irish mega-star discusses his near-flawless performance over Alvarez inside the Octagon on Saturday evening, his future plans and the fact that in a few months he will be entering fatherhood as he and his longtime significant other Devlin Dee are expecting the birth of their first child in a few months.
