The weigh-ins for Mayweather vs. Paul: Bragging Rights are complete, and the weight gap between the two headliners is not a typo.
Yes, Logan Paul did indeed come in 34.5 pounds heavier than Floyd Mayweather. This weight difference was the story of the weigh-ins, but will it be the story of the fight? The unfazed “Money” Mayweather doesn’t seem to think so.
“I’ve been here before,” Mayweather said at the ceremonial weigh-ins. “So I know what it takes. I fought every different style you could possibly fight. Height don’t win fights. Weight don’t win fights. Fighting wins fights at the end of the day. And I can fight.”
Also on the card will be the debut of former NFL star wide receiver Chad Johnson, aka Chad Ochocinco, who will be taking on Brian Maxwell. Maxwell came in four pounds heavier than Johnson for this cruiserweight bout.
