Leave to Nate Diaz to bust out a smoke during his open workout session.
Diaz is scheduled to take on Anthony Pettis this Saturday night (Aug. 17). The welterweight clash will co-headline UFC 241 inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. It’ll be Diaz’s first bout since Aug. 2016.

ESPN’s Brett Okamoto said that Diaz was smoking some type of herbal cigarette.
“It appears Nate is smoking some kind of herbal cigarette. I don’t recognize the smell but it’s not normal smoke. Looking into it.”
During a UFC promo video, Diaz revealed what enticed him to return to the Octagon to face Pettis.
“I wasn’t happy about the stuff that was going on with him,” Nate Diaz explained. “I saw him come in and then before you know it, I turn around for a second and he is on the cover of a Wheaties box and I was like ‘hold up’. Now I’m fighting the Wheaties box dude.
“I was like trying to get a fight win him and [he] was like big leaguing me. And then he comes walking my way all cool, Wheaties box guy. We should have fought a long time ago, but here we are now and I think it is all about to go down!”
