NSAC Hands Down One-Year Suspension To Robert Drysdale For Failed Drug Test

The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) handed down a one-year suspension to UFC Light Heavyweight contender Robert Drysdale on Monday for his failed post-fight drug test following his UFC debut in July.

The jiu-jitsu phenom tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone following his first-round submission victory over Keith Berish at The Ultimate Fighter 19 Finale back on July 6th.

As a result of the suspension, which is retroactive to his July fight, Drysdale was fined 33-percent of his reported $16,000 fight purse ($5,280) and his win over Berish was overturned to a “no contest.”
