After initially being pulled from Saturday’s UFC 186 fight with Fabio Maldonado, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is back on the card.
On Tuesday, a judge in the Superior Court of New Jersey’s Appellate Division overturned Bellator’s injuction against the MMA legend, allowing him to, once again, fight Maldonado on the show in Montreal, Quebec, Canada this Saturday night was originally planned.
“We are happy with the decision from the New Jersey Court allowing Rampage to fight in Montreal this Saturday night,” UFC President Dana White said. “I am looking forward to seeing Rampage back in the Octagon.”
According to the official UFC website, due to the late notice, the Rampage-Maldonado bout will be taking place at a catchweight of 215 pounds.
UFC 186: Johnson vs. Horiguchi takes place this Saturday, April 25, 2015 from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, airing live on pay-per-view.
