UFC On ESPN+ 41 Results: Rafael Dos Anjos Decisions Paul Felder

Check out MMA News' UFC On ESPN+ 41 results, featuring a main event meeting between Rafael dos Anjos and Paul Felder.

UFC On ESPN+ 41 went down tonight (Sat. November 14, 2020) from the UFC APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada and we have the results. The world’s leading mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion compiled an excellent card for fight fans to enjoy.

It was headlined by a meeting between Rafael dos Anjos and Paul Felder in a lightweight bout.

The co-headliner saw a bout between Abdul Razak Alhassan vs. Khaos Williams. Kay Hansen vs. Cory McKenna, Eryk Anders vs. Antonio Arroyo (had been nixed), and Brendan Allen vs. Sean Strickland finished out the main card.

Rafael dos Anjos vs. Paul Felder

There was no feeling out process, but rather they went out swinging from the get-go. Felder cut him open with a left hand on RDA’s right temp. In the middle part of the opening bell, RDA scored a takedown and got half guard. Felder scrambled to his feet, but RDA kept him up against the fence. Felder fought out of it with an uppercut. Felder threw a lot of elbows. They clinched and Felder dropped to a knee before getting back up. RDA ended the round with a nice combo. RDA started to pick up his hand speed as the second round went on while Felder looked to counter strike. RDA did get a sweep takedown. RDA came right out to clinch with him and then got a trip takedown in the third round. RDA got half guard while Felder held him. Felder started to throw some big shots in the fourth round and even got a takedown of his own while blood was dripping down his forehead. RDA got another takedown in the final round and beat him down with strikes. In the end, the judges gave the decision win to dos Anjos.

Abdul Razak Alhassan vs. Khaos Williams

Khaos blasted him with a straight right hand down the middle and that’s a wrap. Adbul was stiff as a result.

Miranda Granger vs. Ashley Yoder

A slow start until Yoder scored a takedown, but Granger scrambled. Yoder went for an armbar then a triangle choke, but Granger got out of it. They stayed in a weird body lock until the horn. The second round saw them clinch and Granger score another takedown only for Yoder to scramble and get back on top. Yoder scored a takedown to open the third round. Yoder got full mount and rained down some shots before getting her back to do more damage. Yoder did get a rear-naked choke locked in, but Granger was able to get to the bell. Yoder got the decision win.

Brendan Allen vs. Sean Strickland

There was no feeling out process. They went right at it with strikes until Sean caught a kick and got a takedown into full guard. Allen got back to his feet, but did so with Sean all over him in the clinch and landing knee strikes. They separated and started throwing leather. Allen was loading up on his shots while Sean was trying to put together combinations. In round two, Sean landed a combo that hurt Allen, Sean followed up with strikes up against the fence until Herb Dean stepped in to stop this one.

Kay Hansen vs. Cory McKenna

A slow start until Hansen pressed her up against the fence where they traded some shots in the clinch. McKenna worked for a takedown up against the fence, but Hansen fired away with knee strikes to the face. McKenna fell down and Hansen took her back to end the first round. The second round was mostly dominated by McKenna who took her down and worked her over with strikes from full guard. Hansen started to let her hands go in the third round. However, McKenna was quick to take her down in the middle of the frame and tried to get a submission finish, but couldn’t complete it. McKenna got the decision win.

It was certain to have a great night of fights. Check out MMA News’ UFC on ESPN+ 41 results below:
