UFC Argentina Medical Suspensions: Neil Magny & Khalil Rountree Out 60 Days

With every decision comes a consequence and for those fighters who took part in battle at UFC Argentina, it’s their time to faces those consequences in the form of medical suspensions.

Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Neil Magny in a welterweight bout headlined this event while Ricardo Lamas vs. Darren Elkins in a featherweight bout served as the co-headliner.

Rounding out the six bout main card was Khalil Rountree Jr. vs. Johnny Walker in a light heavyweight bout, Cezar Ferreira vs. Ian Heinisch in a middleweight bout, Guido Cannetti vs. Marlon Vera in a bantamweight bout, and Poliana Botelho vs. Cynthia Calvillo in a women’s strawweight bout.

Some of the more notable suspensions include Magny, Rountree, and Hector Aldana being out for 60 days. Also, Jesus Pinedo and Anderson dos Santos are out for 180 days.

UFC Argentina (also known as UFC Fight Night 140) took place on November 17, 2018 at Estadio Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The main card aired on FOX Sports 1 at 10 p.m. ET while the preliminary card was split broadcasted on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET and the promotion’s streaming service, UFC Fight Pass, at 7 p.m. ET.
