VIDEO: Fallon Fox Demands Apology From Joe Rogan For “Blatant Misogyny & Transphobia”

Transgender mixed-martial-artist Fallon Fox is pissed off at UFC commentator Joe Rogan for recent comments he made that she claims are “blatant misogyny and transphobia,” and she’s letting him know it.

In a guest editorial that she posted on BloodyElbow.com, which was accompanied by the above video, Fox ripped into Rogan and demanded an apology.

Below is an excerpt from her editorial.

“Since I’ve come out, Joe Rogan continues to spread incorrect information on transgender athletes. Much of this goes against the consensus of the medical community and the commissions that license me to fight. I see no end to this from him in sight. In one of his more recent podcast he said, “But the big difference is the mechanical advantage of the male frame. You don’t find a female with super wide shoulders, narrow waist and the same size hips and the same shape hips as a man and when you have that kind of body you can just generate more force.” I still haven’t heard what this claim is based on other than his bias and guessing. How does that work exactly? If it were such a thing I would get licensed.

He has influence with MMA fans. So, I am forced to focus on Rogan and his arguments now, and will continue to do so for several weeks – or as long as it takes. Like I said, I shouldn’t have to do this. But, I feel compelled to do so in order to try to stop this nonsense if I am to attempt to fight in the future for the promotion for which he is a commentator.

It’s been a while now since I’ve come out. My mind needed some time to acclimate to all of this which has made my MMA game a lot tighter lately. And fighting back politically makes me feel even better. It’s tragic really for Joe Rogan and those people who side with him. All of this ‘being corrected’ can just be avoided by him apologizing and correcting the misinformation. That would really make my day.”

Why should Joe Rogan apologize? For speaking his mind? You can spin it all you want but the fact is Fox is a man fighting women. No amount of surgery will change that. The feminine about Fox is her whining and crying about Rogan's comments. I understand he wants to be a MMA fighter. So he should either fight men or fight other transgender fighters. But he has no business fighting women. He isn't good enough to fight in the UFC. Fox would get cut faster than Kimbo Slice.

he dont have to say shit, his podcast are like a private convo that he is nice enough to let you in on, and he is the first to say how he is not a genius and makes mistakes, why the fuck should he have to apologies for that?

I don't think Joe is transphobic. Fallon was a guy who got a sex change and started fighting women. To me that kinda means he has the reflexes and still the bone structure of a man. That gives him a clear advantage.

Get this guy out of the FEMALE division. This shit makes me sick. Joe Rogan don't need to apologize shit to this dude... fuck outta here.. Misogynist.. lmao he's a MAN! Enough of this phobia bull shit too. Phobia this.. phobia that. This dude will never be a woman, and Joe Rogan saying it like it is.

I guess this freak thinks it would be perfectly ok for Brock Lesnar to throw on a wig and start beating women...

Just don't get it, men have bigger muscles naturally, biologically they are built to be stronger, this generation's sexuality bs is just making problems out of nothing, I read before about a college having toilets without any identification of gender.... A COLLEGE (In the UK College is for teens from like 16 - 18) where both men and women can go in, like wtf?

If this turns into #MMAGate i swear people will riot. When did "Misogyny" shouts became the weapon of choice for some...

let's flip this for a second and completely take out the fact that she/he is transgender. and then read your statement again. is it wrong that she/he is fighting women and not men? maybe. but to say that they deserve to be raped is completely blowing it out of proportion. you honestly sound like one of those people that is afraid of a little change. so it's not what you agree with, so what let's put this from your perspective. put yourself in their shoes how would you like to be told the comments that rogan pointed at you,

The evidence came from the list of Doctors he spoke with about bone structure and fist size during male growth in puberty. He said that clearly on the show, I'm guessing you didn't listen the parts you didnt want to hear. The only unbacked attacks I can see is you not giving a defense to."Much of this goes against the consensus of the medical community" Really? What medical community are you referring to, Joe named the doctor he spoke with, did you? Also, if you actually followed Joe's podcast, he has had several transgender-ed guests, all supporting their choice and promoting education in the field, so i'm having a really hard time seeing this biased hatred you seem to think he had. Everything he said was factual correct and defended with evidence. Also, its not his fault you decided to fight against women without informing those you were fighting about your medical history. Thats on you. You withheld information, and now take you medicine for it. Those other women fighters deserved to know exactly what they were up against. You never gave them that opportunity. Like a selfish child, like most of this new generation, you chose to blame everyone else for your own failures, and hid behind the lame vale of prejudice to deflect the fact that you have no grounds for you argument. Also, just food for thought, if the MMA commuity is a huge following of Joe's, as you say, and you seem to be struggling in the PR deparment of that community, don't you think its pretty stupid to attack Joe instead of going on his show and talking with him. That's going to, oh I don't know, make them hate you even more and ruin your career even further. Cause if your saying its you or joe, lady you can go f@ck yourself. You wont go on his show and debate him face to face cause that man will intellectually rip you a new ahole.

but even with that backstory it doesn't give you merit to say that she should be raped. I don't agree with the transgender lifestyle or decison or whatever you want to call it bit at the end of the day they're people like you and I they have feelings, no matter what body parts they were born with or had surgically altered
  12. Nicholas
The reality is that Fox is either a man or transgender, but is not and never will be a woman. No amount of surgery will change that. The real problem is that he is fighting and punching real women. Maybe saying that he deserves to be raped is a little extreme but he definately deserves to get beaten up for thinking it's ok to fight women.

You are all very misinformed. Being transgender and having been on female hormones means she does not in fact, have the same muscularity or bone structure as a man. Once the hormones start affecting changes in your body, within the first two months there is significant muscular atrophy and redistribution, within the first two years significant loss of bone density. Literally the only difference if she's had srs is that she's taller than the average woman. Other than that there is no unfair advantage. You guys and Joe Rogan should actually research a topic before you start making wild claims and transphobic comments that are completely baseless.

Kira, if you knew the sport, you'd admit that a height advantage (=reach advantage) can make all the difference in MMA or in any combat sport. The fact that, on average, men are significantly taller than women IS a factor that gives transgender women an unfair advantage when fighting women that are born women. Secondly, there's not enough information about the effects of hormone treatment as yet. I am not homophobig at all, I just care about the sport, the athletes and the fans.
  15. Kira
Yes height advantage is an advantage, but it isn't like it is impossible or even uncommon for female fighters to be as tall as she is. As far as the muscularity and body composition stuff, that's all documented fact. There is no room for debate about that. There are plenty of things about hormone therapy that fluctuate wildly case to case, but the loss of muscle mass and strength comparatively is a constant. The point is that Joe Rogan made a lot of accusations and insinuations that were flat out untrue and it is giving ammo and credibility to a lot of other assholes to say even worse, downright scary shit like the person on here that said she should be raped. Who the fuck wishes that on someone? Joe Rogan should realize that he has an audience that is going to take what he says to heart and when he starts slinging harmful misinformation it is going to spread. Basically, Joe Rogan was acting like a transphobic dick and it is giving a lot of other transphobic dicks ammo.

Then why did Fox hid the fact that he was transgender? Because he wanted to have an avantage over female fighters. Transgenders have a bad habit of hiding that fact. It's called being dishonest. Shouldn't legit female fighters get a choice about fighting a transgender? Rogan does not give us the ammo, Fox does. If he really wants to fight, then fight men or join some transgender fight league.

Trannys are disgusting and a disgrace to mankind. That freakshow man Fallon Fox needs to just go away.

So do the hormones also affect the former man's skeletal structure, bone densitym, etc.? Does it give HIM a woman's skeleton with all its strengths and weaknesses? I'm pretty sure the answer is "no" to that question. So unless Fox was on hormone therapy BEFORE puberty, HE is an adult male who took the treatment after achieving physical adulthood. HE doesn't like that Joe called HIM out about that fact, and that HE hid the fact from the actual women he fights. The "Brock with a wig" argument maybe overstating things (and provides a hilariously disturbing visual image), but it has a certain level of validity. Maybe Fox knew that HE'D be mediocre as a male fighter, but against females HE would have the advantage.
