Footage of the hilarious reaction to the finish of the UFC 226 main event from longtime UFC color commentator Joe Rogan has surfaced.
As seen in the main event of Saturday’s (July 7, 2018) UFC 226 pay-per-view event at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier was able to score a KO win over Stipe Miocic to win the UFC heavyweight title. With this win, DC is now a two-division champion.
The official Youtube channel of the UFC recently released its “Thrill & Agony” preview, which will air on their streaming service, UFC Fight Pass, as it gives an insight to fans with a behind-the-scenes look at all the winning and losing fighters from the latest pay-per-view event put on by the Las Vegas-based promotion.
This preview is all about Cormier as it shows his family and teammates jumping for joy once the fight was over as well as seeing Rogan’s great reaction to the crazy ending to the heavyweight headliner. Also in the video, we see UFC President Dana White, the crowd, and former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar reacting to the highlight victory.
The newly crowned UFC heavyweight champion has gone on record by stating that he wants to fight Lesnar, which appears to be in the works, as well as trilogy fight against Jon Jones.
