Abus Magomedov had perhaps his most dominant performance in the Octagon since his UFC debut, needing just over three minutes to put away Michal Oleksiejczuk in the UFC Baku main card opener.
Magomedov focused on leg kicks early, trying to keep Oleksiejczuk at bay. Oleksiejczuk, known for his boxing, would not let that stand, however, as he tried to get inside.
That would be his downfall, as Magomedov blasted him with an elbow before locking up a tight guillotine for the submission win.
Following the fight, Magomedov used his post-fight interview to call out former champion Israel Adesanya.

Magomedov has now won four of his last five and is 5-3 in the UFC. Magomedov rebounds in this fight after being submitted by Joe Pyfer at UFC 320.
Oleksiejczuk sees a three-fight win streak snapped with this loss. He entered this bout off a decision win over Marc-Andre Barriault in February.
