Colby Covington and Jon Jones are at it again.
Covington went after his former college roommate in a post on X on Wednesday night.
The things I say only bother you because they’re true @jonnybones. You’re a narcissistic abusive sociopath. Your achievements inside the octagon don’t make you a better person outside of it.
Covington referenced Jones’ arrest in Las Vegas in September 2021 on a domestic battery charge. That charge was later dropped as part of a plea deal.
He also urged Gable Steveson to switch camps and train with Jones’ longtime rival, Daniel Cormier.
If Gable really cares about advancing in his career he should leave you and go train with a real man like Daniel Cormier.
The latest round started after Steveson’s 12-second knockout loss to Sean Sharaf at UFC 331 in September, with Jones in his corner. Covington told Steveson to cut ties with Jones, and Jones fired back on Wednesday.
Covington, 38, retired from the UFC in May. He has since competed in Real American Freestyle, where he defends the RAF Cruiserweight Crossover Championship against Khamzat Chimaev on Nov. 14 in Abu Dhabi. The event goes head-to-head with UFC 334.
