Eoin Sheridan controlled much of the striking exchanges in his PFL Tampa bout with James Vake, eventually landing a brutal knee to score a knockout that got the night’s action off to a hot start.
Sheridan controlled things early by making use of distance management, landing jabs and kicks to keep Vage at bay. Vake found success by controlling Sheridan against the fence, but he didn’t do much with it.
Sheridan then started to get into a groove with his jabs. After hurting Vake on one exchange, Sheridan swarmed him. He landed a knee to the body before delivering a solid knee to the head that put Vake out cold.
Sheridan improves to 6-0, including a 4-0 PFL record. He last fought in April, defeating Chris Mixan at PFL Belfast.
