Henry Cejudo Calls For Herb Dean To Step Aside

Henry Cejudo wants Herb Dean out of the cage.

The former two-division UFC champion called for the veteran referee to step aside on his Pound 4 Pound podcast with Kamaru Usman.

That dude has just been, f—-, man. It’s ridiculous. It’s ridiculous that the Nevada State Athletic Commission, that he still even has a job, in my opinion.

Nobody likes this dude no more. Nobody! They show him on camera, he’s getting booed. It’s ridiculous. No accountability whatsoever.

Dean’s latest controversy came at UFC 332 on Saturday. He stopped Esteban Ribovics vs. King Green after Green went down for the third time in the first round. Green said he wanted to keep fighting. Dana White said Dean is “having a rough f—-ing year” but said he had seen worse stoppages.

Cejudo admitted that stoppage was not his main issue.

That is a tough job. I’m not so mad at this one. Maybe I am just picking on Herb Dean, but the last time, at last week’s Contender Series, where that dude gets f—-ing kneed to the f—-ing head, and this dude doesn’t have the balls.

On the Sept. 29 Contender Series, Ian Escuza stopped Luca Borando in 32 seconds with a knee to the head while Borando was down. Dean and the Nevada commission reviewed the replay and let the result stand. Escuza earned a UFC contract, and White said afterward that Dean “f—-ed up.”

You should have stopped it right then when he got kneed. That fight would have been a No Contest.

Cejudo also pointed to the White House card in June. Ciryl Gane stopped Alex Pereira for the interim heavyweight title, and Pereira blamed Dean for missing several blows to the back of the head during the finish.

The Poatan, it’s just endless, dude.

Cejudo said Dean “needs to step aside.”
