It didn’t take long for Jalin Turner to make a statement at UFC 330, needing just 39 seconds to put away the hyped Kaue Fernandes in their main card bout.
Fernandes got a leg kick off early, but that ultimately amounted to the most significant shot from him in this bout.
Turner used his pressure to back Fernandes up to the fence, landing a solid left hand to drop Fernandes. A couple of follow-up shots quickly brought the fight to a halt.
After a brief retirement following his loss to Ignacio Bahamondies at UFC 313, Turner is 2-0 since his return. He returned at UFC 323 in December, stopping Edson Barboza.
