Power was on display in the UFC 330 prelim bout between Donte Johnson and Eric McConico, ending when Johnson landed a one-hitter quitter to score a first-round knockout.

Johnson sent a powerful message after the fight, claiming he will look to drop to welterweight. In fact, Johnson said he aims to win UFC championships in three different weight classes.

“I want three belts!” Johnson said. “If I want something, I’m gonna do it all the way.”

Johnson came in with a powerful flurry during the bout’s opening minute, but he was rocked briefly by a jab from McConico. It wasn’t long after, however, that Johnson landed a pair of hard punches that put McConico’s lights out.

“Lockjaw” improves to 9-0 in MMA, including a 3-0 UFC record. Last year, Johnson scored a finish of Sedriques Dumas and a split decision over Cody Brundage.

McConico has traded wins and losses since arriving to the UFC from Tuff-N-Uff.
