Kaan Ofli produced one of his best performances in the Octagon yet, as the TUF 32 alumnus scored a first-round finish of Javier Reyes during the UFC Baku prelims.
While Reyes looked to push the pace and pressure, it was Ofli who was landing the better strikes, including a hook that seemed to rattle Reyes. Ofli dropped Reyes with a right hand late in round one and swarmed him with ground-and-pound.
When he couldn’t find the TKO, Ofli transitioned into an arm-triangle choke, scoring the tapout.

Despite starting his UFC run 0-2, including a loss to Mairon Santos in the TUF 32 featherweight final, Ofli has now won three straight. Ofli entered this fight off a majority decision win over Yizha at UFC 325.
Reyes won a UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series last September. He then made his UFC debut in February, finishing Douglas Silva de Andrade.
