It was an easy night at the office in the Windy City for Levan Khabalaev, as he didn’t need much to put away Brock Hamer in their PFL Chicago prelim bout.
Khabalaev caught Hamer coming in for a takedown in the opening seconds of the bout. Khabalaev landed a quick right hand that dropped Hamer, and he went to town with his strikes after that.
Hamer survived the initial onslaught, but another counterpunch rocked him. Khabalaev landed a couple more punches, as well as a couple of solid knees, to drop Hamer for good.
Khabalaev is now 6-0 in professional MMA. He made his PFL debut at PFL New York in July, quickly finishing Chamy Delva.
