Back at UFC 126, Anderson Silva dropped jaws by landing a front kick to the face as he finished Vitor Belfort. Now, at PFL Tampa, Luke Trainer had his own such moment, as that strike led him to a win over Roland Dunlap.

Trainer started the fight by focusing on Dunlap’s leg, landing a number of shots as he brought the pressure early. Dunlap looked to turn things up as he worked combinations late in round one and early into the second.

Trainer stayed patient as he looked to counterattack. The opening came when Dunlap bounced himself off the cage, leaving himself open for a front kick to the head by Trainer, which crumbled Dunlap for the win.

Trainer has now won six straight, coming into the PFL following its acquisition of Bellator. He made his official PFL debut in February, scoring a submission of former PFL champion Rob Wilkinson.
