It was an impressive first UFC win for Mandel Nallo, as he put a beating on Nate Landwehr in the opening bout of the UFC Edmonton main card.
Nallo’s physical advantages were on full display, as he picked Landwehr apart with a number of leg kicks, busting up one of his legs, as well as landing plenty of jabs. The damage was on Landwehr’s face by the end of the first round, bloodied and battered.
Landwehr couldn’t fight off the effects on his leg, as another couple of leg kicks dropped him. Nallo landed a few follow-up shots, and that sealed the deal.
Nallo earned a UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series last year. He made his UFC debut in April, getting stopped by Jai Herbert.
