A.J. McKee vs. Salamat Isbulaev – Featherweight Main Event
The 22-2 McKee is 3-1 in the PFL cage since the promotion’s purchase of Bellator. The former Bellator featherweight champion comes into this bout off a win over Adam Borics at PFL Madrid in March.
Isbulaev is 10-0 in professional MMA, having fought mostly for the Alash Pride and JCK Kings promotions. Isbulaev made his PFL debut in his most recent outing, finishing former PFL champion Jesus Pinedo at PFL Dubai in February.
The PFL San Diego co-main event will feature Liz Carmouche taking on Viviane Araujo in women’s flyweight action.
Carmouche has had plenty of success in her career, having been a former Bellator women’s flyweight champion and former UFC flyweight and bantamweight title challenger. After falling short in the 2024 tournament, Carmouche defeated Ilara Joanne, Elora Dana and Jena Bishop last year to win the 2025 PFL Women’s Flyweight World Tournament.
Araujo, a former champion of Pancrase, went 7-6 in the UFC between 2019 and 2025. She made her PFL debut at the PFL Chicago card in April, defeating Shanna Young.
