RAF Georgia went down on July 11 at the Tbilisi Sports Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia. It marked the first RAF event to be held outside the United States. The main event saw Merab Dvalishvili defeat Henry Cejudo.
Cejudo got off to a dominant start, nearly putting away the fight in the first period. Cejudo landed a suplex on Dvalishvili and built up from there, going on to score eight in the timeframe.
Cejudo looked for the win in the second, but Dvalishvili prevented that and scored a takedown himself. Dvalishvili was soon able to work over Cejudo, landing another takedown in the third, as well as a shot-clock advantage.
Between the second and third periods, Dvalishvili scored 11 points and shut out Cejudo, giving the Georgian native an 11-8 come-from-behind victory.
