Sarvarjon Khamidov has made it known he wants a shot at the bantamweight title, making his declaration with a first-round finish of Rafael do Nascimento at PFL Chicago.
Khamidov got close to Nascimento right away, trying to cut off the cage. After a few right hands, Khamidov clinched Nascimento against the fence. Nascimento worked his way off the fence and used his reach to land some kicks and get his striking going.
It would all be for naught, however, as Khamidov landed a left hand to drop Nascimento and put him out for the first-round victory.
Khamidov, a veteran of Bellator and UAE Warriors, is now 2-1 in the PFL.
