Timmy Cuamba had perhaps the most impressive outing he’s had in the UFC thus far, finishing Louis Jourdain at UFC Edmonton.
After a trading of leg kicks, Cuamba looked to use his speed and strikes before scoring a takedown. Cuamba, in fact, scored four takedowns in the first five minutes, threatening a Von Flue choke at one point and dominating the first round with his positioning.
Cuamba got the fight back to the ground in round two, and this time he was able to lock up a rear-naked choke and score the submission victory.
Cuamba has now won three of his last four fights. He came into this bout off a loss to Benardo Sopaj in May.
