A UFC fighter gave an internet troll a brutal reality check after the social media personality stepped into the cage to back up his trash talk.

The young man, known as Rohan, recently joined streamer StevenStrangles for a sparring session with UFC fighter Jared Gordon after allegedly making disparaging comments about him online. What followed was a painful lesson in the difference between internet confidence and professional fighting experience.

Gordon, a veteran of 18 UFC bouts, who appeared to take it relatively easy during the session. Even at what looked like a fraction of his usual pace, however, Gordon’s technical advantage was overwhelming.

The clip shows Gordon repeatedly landing clean strikes while controlling the pace of the session. He also threatened submissions and used ground-and-pound, leaving Rohan struggling to deal with virtually every phase of the fight.

“Flash” eventually landed a clean head kick that visibly rattled Rohan, bringing the sparring session to an abrupt and merciful conclusion. Gordon then looked toward the camera with a sheepish expression, seemingly realizing that he may have taken the lesson a little too far.

Rohan has apparently made a habit of testing himself against professional fighters on stream. He previously stepped into the cage with UFC veteran Billy Quarantillo, who is scheduled to face Diego Ferreira in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 120.
