Bo Nickal looked to rebound from his first professional loss in highlight fashion, and while it looked
After a brief feeling out process, Nickal quickly scooped Vieira up and slammed him to the mat. Vieira scrambled to the fence but Nickal laid into him with a series of punches and knees. Vieira pushed Nickal into the fence briefly, but Nickal would separate before threatening with a guillotine choke. Vieira would survive, however, as well as survive the offensive attack Nickal imposed throughout the first.
Nickal continued to piece Vieira up in the second round, busting him open in highlight fashion. Then, in the third round, Nickal used the left hand to set up a devastating head kick, dropping Vieira out cold.

Nickal, the former NCAA wrestling champion from Penn State, scored wins over Jamie Pickett, Val Woodburn, Cody Brundage, and Paul Craig to start his Octagon tenure. This was his first fight since tasting defeat for the first time, losing to Reinier de Ridder at UFC Des Moines in May.
Vieira has now lost two of his last three fights.
