A major middleweight matchup will be the headliner for the UFC’s upcoming visit to California’s capital, as Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez takes on Gregory “Robocop” Rodrigues in the UFC Sacramento main event.
The UFC confirmed the news during the UFC Baku broadcast, along with posts on social media.
This will mark the first fight for Hernandez, a native of California, since his loss to current middleweight champion Sean Strickland at UFC Houston in February. That loss snapped an eight-fight unbeaten streak.
Rodrigues has won three straight and six of his last seven. He enters this fight off a knockout of Brunno Ferreira at UFC 326 in March.
UFC Sacramento takes place on August 22 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.
