Bo Nickal says his fight with Joe Pyfer is moving from UFC 335 to a main event in Cleveland in February.
Nickal shared the news while speaking at a campaign rally for Ohio governor candidate Vivek Ramaswamy on Thursday. Video of the announcement was posted on X.
It actually got moved to February, where I’m going to be main eventing in Cleveland.
Nickal said he got the call backstage. He added that he plans to beat Pyfer and then go after the middleweight title.
Pyfer fired back on Instagram.
I will take your fake dreams away. Poor kid vs. rich kid.
The UFC has not announced the change or a date for the Cleveland card. The promotion added the fight to UFC 335 during the UFC 332 broadcast. UFC 335 takes place December 12 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Pyfer (16-3) has won four straight. The run includes a second-round TKO of Israel Adesanya in the UFC Seattle main event on March 28.
Nickal (9-1) suffered his only loss to Reinier de Ridder in May 2025. He has since won two straight by knockout. He stopped Rodolfo Vieira at UFC 322 and finished Kyle Daukaus in the first round at UFC Freedom 250 at the White House in June.
